The satellite receiver is linked back to the main site at FOX 55 (Hewitt) using a UHF Motorola Maxtrac 100 transmit radio that has VHF GE/Ericsson MDX radio connected to it receiving on 147.735.  The VHF radio is connected to a TX/RX receive preamp and then run through a TX/RX bandpass cavity to keep out decense caused from the County Fire transmitter also at this location..  That cavity is then connected to a Telewave 2 port power splitter and then connects to the 7/8" hardline.  The hardline runs up the tower and connects to Celwave PD220 omni fiberglass antenna at 120'.  The second port of the Telewave power splitter is connected to the county's TX/RX pass reject cavity for their receive preamp that connects to their receivers on County Fire and Sheriff 2.  The UHF transmitter is connected to 1/2" hardline.  The hardline runs up the tower to 45' and connects to a 3 element UHF yagi pointing toward the Hewitt tower.  There is a generator at this site to provide emergency power.
