147.135/146.865 repeater system - satellite receivers/multicast transmitters

PL 114.8 (2A)

BROKAW

The satellite receiver is linked back to the main site at FOX 55 (Hewitt) using a UHF Motorola Maxtrac 100 transmit radio that has VHF GE/Ericsson MDX radio connected to it receiving on 147.735.  The VHF radio is run through a TX/RX bandpass cavity to keep out decense caused from the paging transmitter also at this location.  That cavity is then connected to the 7/8" hardline.  The hardline runs up the tower and connects to a Celwave PD340 omni antenna at 120'.  The UHF transmitter is connected to Belden 9914 coax.  The coax runs up the tower to 15' and connects to a 3 element UHF yagi pointing toward the Hewitt tower.  There is no emergency power at this site because of the small size of the building.

This site also has the 443.325 KA9HQE repeater.
