147.135/146.865 repeater system - satellite receivers/multicast transmitters
PL 114.8 (2A)
DANCY
The satellite receiver is linked back to the main site at FOX 55 (Hewitt) using a UHF Motorola Maxtrac 100 transmit radio that has VHF GE/Ericsson MDX radio connected to it receiving on 147.735. The VHF radio is connected to a Micor 2M receive preamp and then connected to a TX/RX bandpass cavity. The other side of the cavity is then hooked to one of the ports on a 8 port TX/RX receive preamp/multicoupler which is connected to the 7/8" hardline. The TX/RX receive preamp/multicoupler is also shared by the county for County Fire, Sheriff 1 and also Sheriff 2. The State Patrol also shares this preamp for the statewide Mobile Data system. The hardline runs up the tower and connects to Celwave PD340 omni directional antenna at 240'. The UHF transmitter is connected to 1/2" hardline. The hardline runs up the tower to 70' and connects to a 6 element UHF yagi pointing toward the Hewitt tower. There is no generator at this site so we have battery back up on these radios.
