147.135/146.865 repeater system - satellite receivers/multicast transmitters

PL 114.8 (2A)

ASPIRUS WAUSAU HOSPITAL

The satellite receiver is linked back to the main site at FOX 55 (Hewitt) using a UHF Motorola Maxtrac 100 transmit radio that has VHF GE/Ericsson MDX radio connected to it receiving on 147.735.  The VHF radio is run through a Comet triplexer (6M/2M/70cm).  The antenna port of the triplexer is hooked to the Belden 9913 coax and runs to the roof and up the tower to approximately 40ft on the tower.  This gives us an overall elevation above ground of approximately 100 feet.  The antenna is a triband Comet GP15.  The UHF radio connects to a UHF bandpass/band reject filter and then connects to the UHF portion of the triplexer.  There is emergency power at this site using the hospitals generator.

This site also has the 52.890 W9SM 6M repeater which uses the 6M portion of the triplexer and antenna.

If you look between the lower Micor mobile radio and the SCOM 5K controller, you can see the equipment for the 147.735 satellite receiver, the UHF link and the bandpass/band reject filter.  All of the equipment is run off of the Astron 35amp power supply.  The Comet triplexer is the black item that is in the upper right corner of the cabinet.
