The Wisconsin Valley Radio Association is pleased to announce that the 2017 WVRA calendar to benefit amateur radio will soon be available. The calendar is an annual fundraiser to help defray the increasing costs of providing amateur radio services to the hams that live and travel through North central Wisconsin.

The 2017 calendar we opened up the archives and curated a collection of historical images and clippings of amateur radio activities and operators from the 1950’s to present. But there is room for more. You can help by submitting your favorite historical amateur radio image for consideration. We are especially looking for pictures from the 1980’s and 90’s. If selected, you will receive a free calendar and photo credit. Please submit all photos by Friday September 30, 2015. High resolution digital images are preferred (6 megapixel or better), but lower resolution images may be considered. Please email your images to Michael, KB9VBR at kb9vbr@yahoo.com.

Sponsorship opportunities are available for the calendar. Sponsors will have their logo printed on every monthly page of the calendar. The calendar will feature pertinent amateur radio events, contests, and operating activities, so this calendar will be a resource that hams with use the entire year. Sponsorships are $150. Advertising deadline is September 30, 2016.

The calendar will be available for sale in mid October, 2016. Cost is $10 (plus $2.95 shipping, if applicable).
